What we offer

Sports Massage

The prime purpose of sports massage therapy is to help alleviate the stress and tension which builds up in the body’s soft tissues during physical activity. Where minor injuries and muscle spasms occur, due to overexertion and/or overuse, massage can break them down quickly and effectively. Regular sports massage will hopefully prevent those niggling injuries that so often get in the way of performance and participation in your chosen sport at whatever standard that is.

Dry Needling

What is dry needling
What is the difference between Dry needling and acupuncture?

They both involve puncturing the skin with thin needles to treat therapeutic ailments. While they both aim at providing pain relief (amongst other things) the practices are both very different in nature.
In brief therapists using dry needling attempt to release tension within soft tissue by targeting knots and pressure points in muscles. Acupuncturists insert needles to release endorphins and affect the nervous system. Traditionally Chinese, acupuncture was used to align a person’s energy, or chi.

Sport Taping

We are able to provide Sports Taping at events, Tapes are also used part of your ongoing treatments to support the physical therapy that is prescribed

Massage Therapy

Massage therapy helps to combat occupational, emotional and postural stresses, relaxes tight muscles, relieves pain and reduces stress. Different from a relaxation massage, this massage is firmer to allow for deep soft tissue treatment, which has a more powerful healing effect.  This form of massage reducing tensions in the muscles, tendons and ligaments, this treatment will seek to relieve the body of pain, allowing you to get on with your day to day life more productively.

Spinal Manipulation

The Lumber Spine Manipulations that assist with Lowe Lumbar pain and Sciatica

It is characterised by a sudden and sharp movement performed by the physiotherapist and is often associated with an audible 'click' or 'popping' sound. It is almost always accompanied by pain relief.
